What to expect
Know what the job includes before move day.
Waste and clearance work has additional legal and compliance requirements. Box and Van only assigns a clearance job where the provider has the registrations, insurance and service capability required for that booking.
Clearance availability can therefore be more limited than standard moving work. Declare the waste type, approximate volume, access and any restricted or unusually heavy materials before booking so the job can be checked properly.
Load-based pricing
Current base options include quarter, half and full-load clearances, with specific item surcharges where applicable.
Compliance gate
A clearance is only assigned where the provider can lawfully carry the relevant waste and meets Box and Van compliance requirements.
Access declared in advance
Collection location, stairs, parking, load type and restricted items should be disclosed before acceptance.
Current clearance price book

Clearance work is only accepted when a suitable provider with the required waste compliance is available for the load, location and date.
Quarter-Load Clearance
Current entry-level load option before item-specific disposal, access and other booking adjustments.

Current full-load base option. Heavy, specialist or restricted material can require a different route or may be declined.

Fridges, mattresses, sofas, appliances and other specific items can carry additional disposal charges. Hazardous or specialist controlled waste is not covered by a standard clearance quote.
A submitted quote request is not a promise of clearance availability. Box and Van confirms the job only after the required provider and compliance checks are satisfied.

Provider standards
Provider checks before your job is offered.
Active providers must complete Box and Van onboarding and compliance checks.
Providers are required to hold at least £1,000,000 Public Liability cover and £10,000 Goods in Transit cover, plus valid Hire and Reward cover where required.
Booking details, support communications and job evidence can be retained against the job record.
If the item list, access, timing or other material booking details change, the price or service plan may also need to change before work begins.
